Making a purchase from Song Stage and Screen Autographs is easy. You can pay by credit/debit card in any currency (via Paypal - see below for details), as well as by  cheque (GB Pounds only), and I am happy to post orders to anywhere in the world.

 

If your order exceeds £100 (£50 for UK addresses) postage and packing is free!

 

 

 

Placing an order

 

To place an order simply e-mail me at william@williamrevels.com (please include the word "autograph" in the subject line) telling me:

 

(a) which item(s) you are interested in purchasing

 

(b) which country you live in (so that I can calculate postage charges)

 

(c) how you would like to pay

 

I will confirm that the items are still available and the amount due: if you are happy to go ahead I will e-mail you a secure Paypal link (see below) for credit/debit card payment, or, for UK customers who wish to pay by cheque, my postal address.

 

 

 

Postage and packing

 

UK: postage and packing is £1.50 per order (for any number of items) and orders over £50 are post-free. UK orders are sent by First Class Recorded Delivery.

 

Europe (outside UK): postage and packing is £5 per order (for any number of items), and orders over £100 are sent post-free. Orders to Europe are sent by airmail International Signed For.

 

USA and rest of the World: postage and packing is £6 per order (for any number of items) and orders over £100 are sent post-free. Orders to USA and the rest of the World are sent by airmail, International Signed For.

 

 

 

Payment

 

You can pay by cheque (GB pounds only): I will e-mail you my details/postal address if you would like to pay in this way.

 

Or by credit/debit card (via Paypal: this will enable you to pay in all major currencies including GB pounds, US Dollars and Euros). If you would like to pay by credit/debit card then I will e-mail you a Paypal invoice enabling you to pay securely. [Paypal security is state-of-the-art: your card details are not revealed to me or anyone else, and you will not be charged for using Paypal.]

 

N.B. All prices are in GB Pounds: if you live outside the UK your payment will be automatically converted from your local currency into GB Pounds - Paypal will show you the exchange rate that you are paying - please check that it is to your satisfaction before paying.

 

All orders are packed in stiffened envelopes, and I always endevour to send out orders within a day of payment being received: I will inform you by e-mail if there is going to be a delay.

 

 

 

Your assurance of satisfaction

 

If you are not pleased with your order, for whatever reason, any or all of the items you have purchased can be returned to me within twenty-eight days of receipt in good condition for a no-questions-asked refund.

 

Items are sold as genuine hand-signed autographs of the person named. I only offer items for sale on this site that I am absolutely sure are authentic, but should you purchase an item from me that you subsequently have genuine reason to believe is not authentic, please return it to me and I will be happy to repay the money that you paid for it, irrespective of how long ago the purchase was made.

 

I enclose a letter with each order which includes my full postal address should you need to return any item.

 

 

 

Small print concerning condition, currency and dimensions

 

Unless otherwise mentioned, all items are in reasonable condition commensurate with their age: I will always mention any significant creases or tears to the item, and any faults and blemishes that affect the front of an image, plus any paper etc. adhering to the back.

 

Many of the items, particularly the older ones, have writing on the back, in pencil or in ink, such as notes as to their origin or auction numbers/prices etc., which are part of the item's history and which I will not mention unless I consider that they damage the item or reduce it's value significantly. If an item is a signed postcard I will mention if it has been postally-used.

 

All prices on this website are in Great British Pounds Sterling [£], and all measurements are approximate and include the white border of photographs.

 

Please note all measurements carefully because items are not shown to scale with each other.

About me

 

I began collecting autographs, especially those of opera singers, when I was a student in London in the early 1980s. Fifteen years later my collection was reaching worryingly large proportions, and I started selling at antiques and collectibles fairs, subsequently expanding my business buying items from autograph dealers, auctions and fairs.

 

In 2005 I set up the Song Stage and Screen Autographs website, and now, four years later, am selling autographed items to collectors and other autograph-dealers all over the world. I am a member of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club (UACC member William Revels 9513), and adhere strictly to the UACC Code of Ethics.
