Thora Hird - 1911-2003, prolific British actress, one of the finest character-actresses of her day, appearing in over 100 films and 500 plays. Knighted in her 80s, she was still acting (Last of the Summer Wine) right up to her death - 8 x 10 inches (20.5 x 25 cm) large autographed photo, inscribed "For Norman, My thanks to you!
